Fine Art Portfolio

Sunny
This is one of my favorite dragons to this day, he was given to my undergrad mentor Suzie Garner as a thank you for all of her attention and patience.

Tan Monster Cup
This is one of my first monster cups, it's part of a series that continues today.

Shelf
This is one of my first full sized paintings. (Ignore the watermark, it's from an ancient version of my portfolio) This painting is a Snapshot of who I am, there's some yard because I've been crocheting since I was 9. There's books because I love to read and collect knowledge. There's a bronco bank because I'm from Colorado and I'll continue to love the Denver Broncos no matter how much they hurt me. My sister's wedding picture is there, and my first dog's favorite stuffed animals.

Plate (2016)
Love how the glaze turned out on this plate, it's a basic shape but that glaze is so good.

Baby Artist’s First Still Life (2015)
This is my very first still life, again you see things important to me. Controller for video games (I don't play but the design fascinates me) a music box my mother gave me as a kid, and a coffee cup because my blood is coffee.

Multiple Monster Cups
I love this series so much. The design was born in my undergrad and the series continues today, they're currently being shown and sold in the Blue Pig Gallery in Palisade Colorado. I giggle uncontrollably every time I make one of these.

Coffee Dream Mug
The glaze and texture of this mug turned out so good. I also love the dark base, that was a happy glazing accident.

Mesa Oil Painting (2015)

Louise & Roger (2015)
These dragons were the first ones I made in undergrad, the concept behind them was intended to show snapshots of dragon pups playing. In my opinion, if dragons were real they would be a cross between cats, dogs, and birds aka crazy, derpy, sweet, spicy, and a little weird. This also turned into a series and is also shown at the Blue Pig Gallery in Palisade Colorado.

3 Monster Cups
More of the monster cup series.

Graphite Cabin
I found this cabin and found the composition so compelling I had to draw it.

Chalkwall (2017)

Diablo Triceratops

Earth Dragon
Another glaze experiment dragon intended to test texture and glaze combos.

Gnomehome

Dragon Eye
This is a digital painting technique study, I adapted and combined a few different photo referances then did an overpainting.

Fire Dragon (2016)
This dragon was an experiment in glaze flow and seeing how that would behave on a flowing form.

Gnome Library Takeover

George (2015)
This is an evolutionary stage in the dragon series, it's one of the first where I started experimenting with different combinations of glaze and clay bodies. He was lifted to another of my undergrad mentors, Eli Hall.

Jenny’s Landscape (2016)

Chalkwall (2015)

Spring Prep
This is an inc painting from my undergrad, if I could do it again I'd do the plants differently but overall it's not bad. I love the drill and the Mason jar.
